COVID-19 UPDATE

The OPA and our chapters are continuing to cancel planning functions, events, activities and gatherings of paramedics to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Any and all OPA events are on-hold indefinitely until all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted as per the Chief Medical Officer at Health Canada. In addition, the OPA and our chapters are also following the guidelines and recommendations from Public Health Ontario. It is important for all Canadians to continue to follow the direction of our Public Health professionals until we have flattened the curve.

Until further notice, all planned paramedic events, activities and gatherings have been cancelled indefinitely, or where possible, we have moved core business functions to virtual platforms.

IMPORTANT: The Paramedicine Lunch & Learn being hosted by the Ontario Paramedic Association in partnership with the Waterloo Region Association of Professional Paramedics during October 2020 has been tentatively cancelled.
